    Responsibilities

    Beech Acres Parenting Center is seeking an IT Director to lead the development, implementation, maintenance, and support of IT solutions while providing day-to-day IT leadership of service delivery and technical staff supervision.  This role will be responsible for providing technical vision, leadership, performance management, organizational development and direction for all aspects of the department.

     

    Primary responsibilities include:

     

    • Lead and manage BAPC information technology processes and solutions.
    • Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
    • Design, develop, implement and coordinate IT solutions, policies and procedures.
    • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
    • Act in alignment with end-user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
    • Identify problematic areas and systems gap by implementing strategic solutions.
    • Audit systems and assess outcomes and implications.
    • Develop, execute and maintain annual IT Operations Budget to ensure cost effectiveness.
    • Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
    • Manage technical vendor relationships and ensure software is kept up to the most current releases.
    • Serve as Primary Technical Project Lead for IT solutions related projects by developing and adjusting detail project plans, driving assignment and plan execution, and providing reporting updates on project status.
    • Maintain leadership of IT solutions related projects by partnering with vendors to ensure availability of resources, project scope, project budget, and timeline.
    • Utilize in-depth technical knowledge and business acumen to design and implement secure solutions to meet internal customer needs and provide end-user support.
    • Provides consultation, coordination and direction to Senior Leadership regarding IT systems related gaps and projects.
    • Provide leadership to ensure clarity between ongoing projects and the strategic objectives of the company.
    • Possess strong business acumen and its application to drive business solutions.
    • Drive for continuous improvement in operational efficiency of the department and across the broader organization.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 5-10 + years of experience working in Information Technology, with a minimum of 3-5+ years of experience leading a team of IT professionals.
    • Certification and/or experience in SQL-based operational and analytical systems, Windows server environments, and cloud-based applications.
    • Certification in Project Management (AGILE) or LEAN Six Sigma is a plus.
    • Strong business acumen and business process knowledge.
    • Extensive skill in project leadership with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism and collaboration.
