Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic, purpose-driven individual with a knack for organization and a keen eye for design to fill the role of Manager of Social Media & Brand Marketing. In this pivotal position, you will spearhead our social media initiatives while also playing a key role in our design and branding for marketing collateral. This position includes leading a range of innovative online strategies, tied to both digital advertising and website development, all with a focus on driving customer acquisition. Your passion for collaboration and talent for team building will be integral to success as you engage with program leaders across our nonprofit agency, all united in our mission to empower every child to realize their endless potential.

 

Branding, Design & Collateral Development

  • Mange one direct report: Branding & Design Coordinator.
  • Together, lead and develop branding and design elements for marketing and sales collateral, including video production.

Social Media Management

  • Collaborate closely with our internal program teams to understand their marketing goals & help them effectively utilize social media to achieve their objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute an agency-wide social media calendar and strategy across FB, LI, IG, X, YouTube, and potentially TikTok.
  • Masterfully utilize Canva and Hootsuite to create and distribute impactful multimedia (including animations and video) branded content for posting across all channels, focusing on shareability and engagement.
  • Identify potential influencer strategies and help build and execute influencer plans.
  • Collaborate with our PR consultant to identify newsworthy storytelling opportunities and attend key internal and external events, to take photos and gather quotes to supplement posts.
  • Monitor and analyze social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and tactical opportunities to build audience engagement and achieve core Beach Acres business goals.

Paid Digital Advertising

  • Working with the marketing team, collaborate on an optimal strategy for maximizing conversion click through rates tied to our monthly investments in google and/or other social media paid advertising.
  • Help track and optimize digital marketing metrics via Google Analytics, with a focus on key performance indicators.

Website Management & Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  • Work with web development team as we refresh our current website, with a focus on optimizing website content, meta tags, and other on-page elements.
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement across our target audiences.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year’s experience in social media marketing, where you consistently posted content across multiple channels.
  • Advanced technical Canva and Hootsuite (or similar) expertise.
  • A keen eye for design and branding, plus some familiarity with multi-media production, including video and animations. Knowledge of a range of graphic design tools is a plus.
  • Strong writing skills with an understanding of how to best utilize AI options to support first drafts.
  • Team player with engaging people skills and a proven history of building trusted relationships across diverse populations and/or within a cross-functional structure.
  • Strong organization and project management skills that include keeping track of critical calendars, multi-phase projects, complex processes, and on-time correspondence to ensure reliable execution based on careful attention to detail and high standards of excellence.
  • A deep sense of both creativity and curiosity that together help drive innovation and friendly collaboration.
  • Basic understanding of a broad range of digital marketing strategies, with a willingness to learn.
  • The perseverance, passion, and growth mindset to continuously evolve your skills and deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Business Administration, or related area.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a marketing-based role.
  • Excellent design and written communication skills, including ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers.
  • Strong computer proficiency (Canva, MS Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
